The tarp was a fun experience. Mia looked so funny walking around the round pen draped in the tarp. Putting this on her as easily as I did made me realize that it was time to introduce the saddle to her. I couldn't do this with the other two-they barely like walking across the tarp. Mia is a lot of fun because I can do just about anything without getting to excited.

Hello!
My name is Lisa and I´m from Sweden. I saw on your blogg a picture on your first Mustang Sakira. I only want to say that it is a nice picture of a beautiful horse, she has as your mum said the sweetest and the kindest eyes that I have seen on a horse. You are lucky girl that have your own horses. Congratulations to the title Rodeo Queen and good luck with the training of your 3 Mustangs.

Best regards from Sweden.

Hello,

I just came across your blog today and wanted to stop in and say HI. Your horses are all beautiful! Will you be bringing your 3 yearlings back home from the competition in Forth Worth? I wish you lots of luck and will check back in later! :)

Oh and I forgot to ask what state and herd(s) all of your mustangs are from...

Hey Nikki,
How I wished I could keep all 3, but I won't be able to. My parents are going to let me keep at least 1. I just haven't decided. Mia is my favorite, but a lot has to do with her size(she's huge) & her color-bay roans are pretty rare. She can be a little on the stubborn side. Traveller is mom's favorite and he is coming along nicely. Halona just hasn't bonded with any of us, so she will probably be put up for adoption. Either way it will be a very, very sad day for me & the rest of my family. We all love horses. My Mustangs came from Nevada.
Thanks for the well wishes and check back for updates on my babies
Thanks
Kirstin

I love the pictures and I love you and your parents both! :-) They sound so supportive, and while giving you one of the biggest and most fun opportunities of your life so far, you have also been given a huge decision to make by picking one to keep.
I see what you mean about Mia...beautiful, big, and her coloring is awesome! But little Traveller has that look in his eye that is very soft and special.

Good luck on your decision! Whoever you decide to keep will be a very lucky horse. Thankfully there will be a lot of nice people looking to give a forever home to many of the horses.

Until later...Karen and Tripp
