Newsflash!

We have just sent in the application for Kirstin for the 2009 Extreme Mustang Makeover Western Mission: 008 Yearling Edition. They are selecting approximately 25(that's right only 25) youth to compete in the Makeover again this year. Please send in your prayers, keep your fingers & toes crossed or whatever lucky charms that you have that Kirstin gets selected again this year. She is soooooooo excited about the possibility of training another yearling. We all know that the Mustang is where her heart is.

YAY!!!! I just read this weekend about the yearlings and youth division, and I thought about Kirstin. We will be competing in the Murfreesboro, TN Makeover this year since it is so much closer (if they pick me that is...), but Brian mentioned going as spectators to TX like we did the first year. Will have to wait and see how it goes.

Good luck! Whatever little horse you get will be lucky to have you!

Thanks Karen. Kirstin is already getting ansy. She can't wait until the beginning of May when the announce the trainers. Only 25makes for a very tough competition. I hope the the Mustang Heritage Foundation realizes how committed she is to the Mustang and she gets another chance to train a yearling.
Good luck on the Murfreesboro competition. I'm sure that they will pick you. You did an excellent job on Tripp last year. Here's hoping that both of you get to live your dreams again.
